Dawa Bar Drink Recipes

African Margarita
 
This margarita is one of the best on Disney property. The tangerine liqueur gives it a unique flavor profile with the slightly sweet tangerine mixing with the tart lime juice and sweet & sour. Not your everyday margarita. If you think regular margaritas are too sour, you're probably going to like this one.

  • 2 parts tequila, 1 part Van der Hum, 2 parts sweet and sour, 1 part simple syrup, juice from 1 lime

Lost on Safari
Typical tropical drinks don't include strawberry juice, so that adds a fresh, tart taste alongside the spiced rum. If you enjoy a simple rum & fruit juice drink, give this a try for a little more zip to the flavor.

  • 1 part Captain Morgan Spiced rum, 1 part Bacardi rum, 4 parts Pangani Punch (3 parts Dole Pineapple Orange Strawberry juice and 1 part cranberry juice)


Dawa Colada
If you're trying to decide between getting a dessert and a drink, get both in the Dawa Colada. The pina colada mix with fresh raspberry puree is refreshing and delicious. A great drink to enjoy on a hot day. (In other parts of Disney World this same drink goes by a more familiar name "Pina CoLava")

  • 2 parts pineapple juice, 1 part Coco Lopez, 1 part Bacardi Razz raspberry rum. Blend with ice. Pour a small amount (approx. 1 oz) of raspberry puree into the glass being sure to hit the sides of the glass as you pour. Pour in your blended Pina CoLAVA and enjoy! For the raspberry puree bar brands like Monin or Island Oasis are good choices but feel free to use home made instead.


Harambe Cooler
Similar in flavor to the Lost on Safari, but with a little more alcoholic punch thanks to the Starr African rum's unique flavors of citrus and cardamom. The dark rum & African rum mixed with their special blend of tropical juices give the drink a richer, spicier tropical flavor that's not real sweet.

  • 1 part Starr African rum, 1 part Myers's Original Dark rum, 4 parts Pangani Punch. (3 parts Dole Pineapple Orange Strawberry juice and 1 part cranberry juice)

 

Sugar Cane Mojito

  • 1 part Starr African rum, 1 part Simple Syrup, 2 parts Soda Water, 5 fresh mint leaves, squeeze of lime.

Animal Kingdom Margarita Stand Drink Recipes

Kali River Mango Margarita

  • 1 part Sauza Gold tequila, 1 part monin mango puree, 3 parts Mr. & Mrs. T's sweet and sour, a good drizzle of Rose's Lime Juice. Blend ingredients with ice.


Maharaja Lime Margarita

  • 2 parts Sauza Gold tequila, 1 part triple sec, 2 parts Mr. & Mrs. T's sweet and sour, 1 part agave simple syrup (made with 50% water/50% agave nectar), a good drizzle of Rose's Lime Juice. Blend ingredients with ice.


Bali Hai Strawberry Margarita

  • 1 part Sauza Gold tequila, 1 part monin strawberry puree, 3 parts Mr. & Mrs. T's sweet and sour, a good drizzle of Rose's Lime Juice. Blend ingredients with ice.


Triple Yeti Blast

  • A layer of all 3 Margaritas. See recipes above. Carefully pour one on top of the next so it will layer. Because margaritas get thinner when they melt, and won't want to layer, you've got to work quickly for this one.

Rainforest Cafe Drink Recipes

Firefly Pomegranate Tea

  • 2 parts Firefly Sweet Tea vodka, 1 part Pama pomegranate liqueur, 4 parts iced tea, juice from half of a lemon.


Firefly Sweet Tea

  • 2 parts Firefly Sweet Tea vodka, 4 parts iced tea, juice from half a lemon.


Firefly Peach Tea

  • 2 parts Firefly Sweet Tea vodka, 1 part Dekuyper peachtree schnapps, 4 parts iced tea, juice from half a lemon.


Pink Parrot Lemonade

  • 1 part Skyy Infusions Citrus vodka, 1 part X-Rated Fusion liqueur, 1 part pomegranate syrup, 1 part Mr. & Mrs. T's sweet & sour, 2 parts Sprite.


Tropical Toucan

  • 1 part Malibu Coconut rum, 1 part 99 Bananas liqueur, 2 parts orange juice, 2 parts pineapple juice. Pour ingredients over ice and drizzle grenadine to finish.


Monkey Business

  • 1 part Bacardi rum, 1 part Monin mango fruit puree, 1 part Monin wildberry syrup, 1 part Mr. & Mrs. T's sweet & sour. Blend with ice and serve.


Panama Punch

  • 1 part Myers's Dark rum, 1 part Dekuyper peachtree schnapps, 1 part 99 Bananas liqueur, 1 part Bacardi 151, 1 part creme de cassis, 5 parts orange juice, 5 parts pineapple juice. (Remember when making this, each of the spirits represents only a small portion of the drink. The drink is still 2/3 fruit juice even though it calls for 5 parts alcohol.)


Caribbean Cooler

  • 1 part Bacardi Light rum, 1 part Monin Mango fruit puree, 2 parts Dole orange-strawberry-banana juice.


Rainbow Colada

  • 1 part Captain Morgan Original Spiced rum, 1 part Dole orange-strawberry-banana juice, 2 parts pina colada mix (2 parts coco lopez, 3 parts pineapple juice). Blend ingredients with ice and serve.


Island Daiquiri

  • 1 part Bacardi light rum, 2 parts pina colada mix (2 parts coco lopez, 3 parts pineapple juice), choice of 1 part; 1 part Monin strawberry fruit puree, or, 1 additional part pina colada mix, or, 1 part Monin mango fruit puree, or, 1 part Monin raspberry fruit puree, or, 1 part Monin wildberry fruit puree, or, 1 part Monin banana fruit puree.


Mongoose Mai Tai

  • 1 part Malibu Coconut rum, 1 part Myers's Original Dark rum, 1 part creme de almond, 2 parts orange juice, 2 parts pineapple juice.


Green Python

  • 1 part Skyy Citrus vodka, 1 part Midori Melon liqueur, 1 part Malibu Coconut rum, 1 part 99 Bananas liqueur, 4 parts Mr. & Mrs. T's sweet & sour, 4 parts pineapple juice. Yak & Yeti Drink Recipes

Yak Attack

  • 1 part Bacardi rum, 3 parts Monin Mango fruit puree. Blend ingredients with ice. Prepare a glass by drizzling Monin wildberry syrup into it before adding the daiquiri.


Shanghai Express

  • 1 part Captain Morgan Spiced rum, 1 part DeKuyper banana liqueur, 1 part dekuyper peachtree schnapps, 3 parts orange juice, 3 parts pineapple juice.


Bonsai Blast

  • 1 part Skyy Vodka, 1 part DeKuyper banana liqueur, 1 part Dekuyper peachtree schnapps, 1 part blue curacao, 8 parts Mr. & Mrs. T's sweet & sour. (PTTP suggestion: Substitution for 8 parts sweet and sour. For a less sour and less syrupy drink, use: 4 parts sweet and sour, 2 parts orange juice, 2 parts sprite.)


Emperor Margarita

  • 2 parts Jose Cuervo Gold, 1 part Grand Marnier, 2 parts Mr. & Mrs. T's sweet & sour, 1 part simple syrup. Serve ingredients over ice in a salt rimmed glass and then add a good drizzle of Rose's lime juice.


Big Bamboo

  • 1 part Malibu Coconut rum, 1 part Bacardi Light rum, 1 part DeKuyper banana liqueur, 2 parts orange juice, 2 parts pineapple juice, add a drizzle of grenadine and shake with ice.

Big BambooTropical Daiquiri

  • 1 part Bacardi light rum, 2 parts pina colada mix (2 parts coco lopez, 3 parts pineapple juice), choice of 1 part; 1 part Monin strawberry fruit puree, or, 1 additional part pina colada mix, or, 1 part Monin mango fruit puree, or, 1 part Monin raspberry fruit puree, or, 1 part Monin wildberry fruit puree, or, 1 part Monin banana fruit puree.


Everest Avalanche

  • 1 part Bacardi Light rum, 1 part Monin Mango fruit puree, 2 parts Dole orange-strawberry-banana juice.


Empress Bloody Mary

  • 1 part Stolichnaya Vodka, 3 parts Mr. & Mrs. T's bloody mary mix, dash of tabasco, dash of worcestershire, pinch of celery salt. Serve with a celery stalk.
