Saratoga Lager

Review 2/2012
Inside the Saratoga Springs resort you'll find a real hidden gem for beer lovers - Saratoga Lager which is only available in New York state and right here at Disney World.

Reddish-brown in color with a sweet, nutty malt flavor, (almost caramel-like) and a light hoppy aftertaste makes this an easy to drink beer. The lager is very smooth and well balanced, not heavy or overpowering in any aspect.

While it's a bit of a hike to drive through this resort to get to their bars, we just may find ourselves craving one of these tasty brews enough to make that trip! (And buy a few to take home!)

Need a well-balanced dumb fact to go with well-balanced 'toga?
Ever tried a Kingfisher Lager? Kingfisher is the number 1 selling beer in India, if you run across one in a restaurant it's worth a shot. Here's the tie-in, Olde Saratoga Brewery is the sole brewer for Kingfisher in the United States. Read more about New York state's 4th largest
brewer (undoubtedly just beating out homebrewers!) and their other beer - Saratoga IPA on their website OldeSaratogaBrew.com.
