Simply tell the attendant at the World Showcase Entrance that you wish to go here for breakfast and they will let you in, since World Showcase doesn't officially open until 11:30. Closing time is regular park close.

Atmosphere
They've expanded the bakery into the gift shop room that you enter after watching the Impressions de France movie. There is a walk-up window off to the side that will do drinks to go, when they have it staffed.

Future World - Coral Reef Restaurant

Given the heat, we ordered an Iced Latte with Kahlua and the Tea Breeze. Do you already love iced lattes? You'll love them even more with the addition of these tasty liquors. The Tea Breeze (an Arnold Palmer with vodka) is a welcome drink addition to the park. Sweet and refreshing for the hot summer. These are only 12oz. so it's a bit of a splurge, but if you feel like a refreshing drink or need a caffeine fix, it's worth a glass.

Italy - Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar

This Wine Cellar is connected to Tutto Italia and right next door to Via Napoli. They have changed their menu recently and instead of choosing items a la carte, you now choose from "Gusto Plates for 2 or more". Each selection consists of 3 different items, and prices for these plates run from $24-$29. Ouch. We liked it better when we could pick the individual items we wanted. No more ordering just cheese. There is also a selection of pastas, panini sandwiches and desserts.

Atmosphere
Walk up to the heavy, dark wood doors and a friendly greeter will welcome you. If you want a table, you may have to wait, but if you want a drink at the bar you can go right inside. The Wine Cellar truly lives up to its name as it feels like you've actually gone down into a dark, old-fashioned cellar. Brown stucco walls with breakouts of brick accents add to the charm of the bar. Wraught iron candle holders can be found on the walls, as well as chandeliers with grape-shaped accents. The bar itself runs along the back wall with dark wood and shiny brass accents. No stools or chairs at the bar. There is a variety of seating options, from tables for 2-8, to high-tops to a comfy couch area with a real fireplace. There is a deli counter that houses the meats, cheeses and desserts. In the back corner of the cellar, there are 2 full wall height wine cabinets. The themeing is exceptional and Disney has taken it to another level. Once inside the cellar, you could easily forget you are in the middle of a theme park.

Review
We were able to stop by on the first day of operation, May 1, 2012 to do some research on this new bar. We ordered a glass of Moscato which was lightly sweet and crisp. We also tried the Americano cocktail (Campari, sweet vermouth, club soda with orange twist). A very bitter, sharp drink thanks to the Campari, but with a crisp citrusy orange spark at the end. Not a drink for every palette, but if you enjoy a drier, bitter liquor, give this a try.

We also tried an assortment of dishes to go with our drinks. We ordered the 3 Choices for $14 and chose: Bufala (Neapolitan style Mozzarella), Cacciatorini (Beef and pork, black pepper, garlic, spiced dry wine), and Robiola (Aromatic, tangy, cheese with a fruity finish). We also ordered the Insalata di Mare Trapanese (Shrimp, squid, octopus, lemon, extra virgin olive oil) for $11. Our thoughts? Exquisite. Quite possibly some of the finest food we've had at Epcot yet, and even rivals other fine Italian restaurants in Orlando. This place isn't meant to be an option for a dinner, (you'd go broke filling up), but a great stop for an appetizer or dessert on your trip around the world. Overall, we highly recommend Tutto Gusto and can't wait to try more items. Look forward to more drink and small plates reviews to come in the future.

Updated 1/13

Japan - A lot of care goes into the pouring and presentation of the drinks - our bartender fiddled with the little drink umbrella getting it just right before placing it delicately in our drink. We expect the umbrellas to be gone soon. Very similar to a margarita that's missing that tangy, sour zing and tequila, this light, crisp, lime-y drink is a refreshing hit that is heavy on the sake. These Sake Cocktails only contain the bar's choice of sake with a flavoring agent. They are poured by hand, so strength will change by bartender. Even though it wasn't heavy on the sake flavor, ours had a "healthy" pour of the good stuff - which didn't overpower the taste of the lime. These Sake Cocktails might be a good way for a newbie to sake to give it a try, as the sake they use is a mild-flavored variety.

We also gave the Tokyo Sunset another try. We weren't too thrilled with it a year ago, and unfortunately it hasn't improved much. If you are looking for a more sour than sweet, heavy on pineapple, cocktail with a hint of alcohol for $9.50, this is your drink. This left us with a sour stomach, which is never a sign of a good drink.

The Orange Sake Cocktail is next on our research list at this fine establishment. This drink is like an orange creamsicle in a cup - for adults! This mix of sake plus what we assume is the same orange puree that is used in other drinks on Disney property, make this one smooth, creamy and decadent beverage. You almost forget that there's sake in here - almost. We got a rather healthy pour of over half the glass for this one. A recommended drink on your trip around the world. (This time the wind didn't steal my umbrella!)

Stay tuned to this post - there's lots of new drinks here to be reviewed soon!

China - Gift Shop

Besides Chinese gift items ranging from candles to dresses to artwork, you'll now find wine & beer available for purchase.

After a very warm, welcoming greeting we were shown to our table in a little room off the main dining room. Near a window, we had an ok view of the lagoon, but nothing special. Our server was the most delightful, happy and pleasing server we've come across at any restaurant in a very long time.

Naturally, our duty is to try a few drinks. We started with the Rosearita margarita thanks to our servers recommendation, and Sol Cerveza (beer). She quickly brought out our drinks along with chips and 2 amazing salsas. We are salsa snobs and these passed our test. The red chipotle salsa actually has a good sized kick of spice to it with fresh ingredients and deep flavors. Might be too much for the average consumer, I hope they don't tame it down, that would be a shame. The green tomatillo salsa is milder, but with a nice thicker texture than most tomatillo salsas that are usually watery, and just the right amount of tangy tomato flavor. After dinner we wandered through the new La Cantina and discovered that these salsas are available at the condiment bar! We can see ourselves grabbing some cheap nachos and loading up on these babies. Great salsas that they refilled without charge throughout dinner.
Rosearita - You know how some drinks just taste expensively delicious when you take your first sip? Yeah, that was this one. With an ingredient list of El Mayor premium silver tequila, orange liqueur, fresh lime juice and rose syrup you know you are in for a treat. I also like to pretend that the hibiscus salted rim tastes MUCH better than just regular salted rim, but we all know the truth. Topped off with a single pink rose petal, the presentation is a 10. Mind you, this is a $13 drink, so enjoy it slowly. A nice, sweet flavor but not overpowering the sour tangy-ness of the fresh lime juice. The rose syrup is what gives it that 'something tastes a little bit different here' flavor. I can't wait to try the other ones on the menu, but another day friends.

Sol Cerveza beer is a medium bodied lager, foamy and crisp and lightly citrusy make it the perfect beer for a hot day at the beach. This was a refreshing palate cleanser for La Hacienda's spicy dishes. What? Yes, I know I wrote "Sol Beer Beer". It's to let the people that don't speak Spanish know we're talking about the beer! Cut me some slack . . . thought we were friends.

Tacos de Camarones (Shrimp Tacos) - $22.95
After reading so many rave reviews of the shrimp tacos, I had to give it a try. These were the best shrimp tacos I've ever had the pleasure of eating. The shrimp were perfectly cooked-lightly fried and not chewy or tough, the chipotle-lime aioli, cabbage, lime and more of the awesome salsa verde all worked together perfectly to balance out to a light, refreshing yet tangy taco. My first thought was that 4 little tacos wouldn't be very filling, but that last one was hard to finish (but I was not letting that one get thrown away!) After 2 consumed 'virgin' I decided to get creative and add some chipotle salsa and black beans to my remaining tacos. Also a good decision. You don't see it pictured here, but 2 small bowls of sides came with our entrees - one black beans and one rice. Excellent dish. Next time we impromptu dine here it'll be hard to try something new instead of these again.

Puerco en Salsa de Mole Negro - $25.95
I was between choosing my taco dish and this one, so I was thrilled when my husband chose this. We are not strangers to a good mole, so we were hoping they would deliver. They did. The four pork medallions were so tender they fell apart when you touched it with your fork. Served with flour tortillas, the pork and peppers side made for a fantasticly decadent taco. The mole was rich, creamy with just the right hint of chocolate.

Mexican and Tex-Mex are both of our favorite kinds of food. Some people confuse tex-mex and authentic Mexican. Authentic is much simpler in flavors and less spicy than tex-mex which consists of multiple ingredients, toppings and high levels of spiciness. As long as you understand and appreciate the difference, they are both tasty styles of cuisine.

If this restaurant was plucked out of Epcot and dropped into the heart of downtown Orlando, it would not only fit in, but stand out above other locales. The prices are high, but the quality of the food and service justifies it. We both left absolutely stuffed and very impressed.

You know that we'll tell you when something is terrible, or a waste of money. This review is glowing because that's how our dinner was (glowing?). If you want a nice dinner out, we fully recommend this place. Keep in mind this was opening weekend, so we are fearful that these wonderfully flavored and spiced dishes may end up getting toned down to satisfy the masses. We're crossing our fingers that this place doesn't fall to that Disney pressure to moderately please all and fully-impress none. I guess we'll have to come back in a few months to try it again!
