Atmosphere
Small and a little bland with classy cocktails and prices that deserve top hats. After a few short steps down, you'll notice a large half-moon bar with about 10 barstools. Scattered throughout the rest of the space is an assortment of coffee tables and chairs, some set up for larger parties, others for 2. I didn't feel that the grandour of the resort flowed into this lounge as well as it could have. After the amazing grand room the boring styling feels almost like you stepped into a Radisson by mistake - still nice, just not "Grand" anymore. The back wall is made up of several large windows so it does provide a good view of the resort grounds and the Magic Kingdom (kind of . . . if you crane your neck . . . and look way over there . . . no, that way). Thankfully there is a flat screen tv to enjoy since there isn't much else to look at.
 

Raspberry Rain & SidecarReview
You'll find the missing "elegance" of this place in the drink menu - $255 for 2oz of Remy. We tried the Raspberry Rain and Sidecar on our first visit. We did enjoy the free nuts, but as you see in the photo that by the time we finally received our drinks we were nearly finished. Very slow service considering it wasn't that busy.
The Raspberry Rain was excellent. Hibiscus vodka, chambord and lemon juice gave it a pleasantly sweet yet tart flavor. Very refreshing and light and goes down just too easy! The fresh raspberries were a nice touch. Small drink for the price, but it does include high-end liqueur, so it's a worthy splurge.
The Sidecar was another excellent decision. Strong, citrusy with a hint of tart - just like an old-fashioned drink should be. Same small size as the other, but considering the expensive ingredients here (Courvoisier & Cointreau) it's a decent deal.

If after ordering your drinks they don't give you the assorted nuts, ask for them. They are there, but we think if the servers are too busy they skip it.

Appetizer Review
After a night at the Magic Kingdom, we decided to make a stop over at Mizner's for a drink and some appetizers. Arriving just past 10pm, the bar was rather empty. For drinks, we ordered the Sidecar again and the Grand Cocktail. The Grand Cocktail has a very strong pomegranate/cranberry flavor. Very sweet, yet tart. Lounge Fare is available from 5:30-10pm and even though it was a few minutes past 10, they said they'd make our appetizers.

We ordered the Warm Goat Cheese - Marinated olives and herbed crostini - $8
The warm, soft cheese is a light, creamy consistency with a salty aftertaste. A very decadent, rich appetizer. The contrast of the tart olives complemented the cheese nicely.
We noticed that one of our favorite items from Food & Wine this year has been available on their menu. The Charcuterie - Thinly-sliced Duck breast, Breasaola, Prosciutto di Parma and Serrano ham with Pecorino Romano cheese, Marcona Spanish Almonds and Olive Bread - $14
This is just a larger version of what was served at Food & Wine, with a different bread and almonds. I'm glad we ordered both appetizers because these meats go very well with the goat cheese. The platter has a decent amount of food to share between two people. We left pleasently full - just the right amount for a late-night snack.
