Review

Usually you can expect a weaker pour on a specialty drink, but these are almost always made very well. If you're lucky, one of the sweetest, kindest bartenders will be serving you - Meyrick who is all the way from Wales. I don't know how he does it, but he's always super chipper and eager to make your drink!

You really can't go wrong with one of the specialty drinks here. Here's a picture of a Mai Tai and a Rum Runner. We highly recommend the Rum Runner here. Trust us.

Meyrick is wonderful but I am sad to say he in no longer working at UOR. I was talking to him in the park late June 2015 and he told me it was his last day. He is moving west with his family. Sad to see him go and wish him the best, great guy.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Meyrick leaving makes me very sad.

However, I'm sure we'll get some of that special Universal love from his replacement. As long as by "Universal Love" I mean a special mix of spite and lack of interest that so many of the employees seem to have. That said, Universal seems to be getting a little better lately while Disney seems to be getting quite a bit worse lately. I rarely get greeted when I enter Disney since they installed those new NFC card readers. I've been getting a friendly welcome from Universal almost every time I go lately.
