Atmosphere
This open-air bar has about 10 seats and is set back a bit from the pool. The dark wood & wrought iron give it a very rustic feel. No excuses to stay in the room if your game is on - there's a tv at the bar. The bar is set off a bit from the pool area, so enjoying the pool views & atmosphere isn't as enjoyable as other pool bars.

Not a bad pool bar for those staying on property, but not one we recommend that you have to go see or is worth an extra trip to chill here for an afternoon. If you do find yourself stopping by for a beverage, get it to go and take a stroll along the Sassagoula River.

Once inside, you'll feel like you've been transported to an intimate jazz club in the French Quarter area of New Orleans. Located in the main lobby of the resort, this lounge is a quiet spot to grab a drink in the afternoon, but transforms into the place to be at night when the jazz performer sets up shop around 9pm.

Specialty Drinks
While the main drink menu is just the typical shared menu, you can ask to see the menu from Boatwright's Dining Hall from Port Orleans Riverside. If Scat Cat's has the ingredients, they can make these drinks as well:

Blue Bayou - $9.25
Old New Orleans Amber rum, peach schnapps, blue curacao and pina colada mix.

Cajun Creamsicle - $8.25
Old New Orleans Cajun Spiced rum, creme de banana, white creme de cacao and vanilla ice cream.

The Big Easy - $8.25
Old New Orleans Amber rum, Southern Comfort, peach schnapps and tropical juices.

Southern Hurricane - $7.25
Southern Comfort, orange juice, pineapple juice and grenadine.

Atmosphere
Dark wood and low lighting make for an intimate lounge for a quiet conversation during the day. Have a seat at the bar and chat with one of the most 'talented' bartenders we've come across - Mark. He is a seasoned professional and can whip up anything your tastebuds desire. There are also several tables & chairs and a big screen tv as well. Be sure to come back around 9pm when the bar comes alive thanks to an amazing jazz musician - Elliot Dyson, playing a range of instruments from saxophones to guitars to drums. Come early for a great seat to enjoy this talented performer.
